Safety Guidelines & Participant Agreement**Thank you for volunteering to help keep Rollingwood clean and beautiful! To ensure everyone’s safety and clarity during our events, please review the following guidelines and agreements:⸻Safety GuidelinesPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• All volunteers must wear gloves, safety vests, and closed-toe shoes.
• Long pants and protective eyewear are strongly recommended.
• Masks may be worn at your discretion.Safe Handling of Trash
• Use only the tools provided. Never pick up trash with your bare hands.
• Do not lift heavy items alone—always ask for help or alert a team lead.
• Place sharp or hazardous objects in the designated sharps or hazard containers.
• Keep filled trash bags at a safe distance from your body to avoid rips or injuries.General Conduct
• Stay in your assigned cleanup area and follow the directions of event organizers.
• Be aware of your surroundings, including traffic, uneven ground, or private property boundaries.
• Hydrate, take breaks, and let a team lead know if you feel unwell.⸻Personal Property DisclaimerRollingwood Neighborhood Alliance and event organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings or valuables.
By participating, you agree that you are responsible for your own items and securing them appropriately.⸻Photo & Video ReleaseBy joining this cleanup, you grant permission to the Rollingwood Neighborhood Alliance to photograph or record you during the event. These images may be used for community outreach, social media, and promotional purposes.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify an event organizer at check-in.⸻Assumption of RiskBy participating in this cleanup, you acknowledge and agree that:
• You are taking part voluntarily and at your own risk.
• Outdoor cleanup activities may involve physical exertion, interaction with debris, and environmental hazards.
